Interested in becoming a trained
My PHR presenter?
AHIMA has created a presentation kit entitled, "Your
Personal Health Information: How to Access, Manage,
and Protect It". By taking this information to the
public, and reaching as many people as we can, we
fulfill a vast and critical void that currently
exists in the healthcare system.
We can empower the patient to become a partner in
his/her own healthcare.
MdHIMA is looking for volunteers that are willing to
be trained to take this presentation to consumer
groups in their area.
Qualifications:
-
Credentialed HIM professionals that either live
or work in Maryland, or
-
Student in an accredited HIM program within the
state.
