Overview
The Maryland Health
Information Management Association
(MdHIMA) is the professional
healthcare organization of over
1,000 specialists in the field of
health information management.
MdHIMA was founded in 1930 and is a
component state association of the
American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA). We
are committed to excellence in the
management of health information for
the benefit of patients and
providers. MdHIMA exists to serve
its members, the health care
industry, and the public by
supporting activities and providing
services which contribute to quality
and efficiency within the healthcare
system.
At the MdHIMA 2010
Annual Meeting at the Baltimore
Convention Center on April 29-30,
2010, we
will once again sponsor a Silent
Auction. We are a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization and funds
raised will be specifically used to
encourage and promote ongoing
education and professional
development for MdHIMA members.
Our MD TAX ID # is 52-1327868.
All donations are tax deductible.
Currently we are
requesting participation from
businesses and entertainment groups
to donate:

Free admission tickets for
theatres, entertainment tours, plays, museums, sports events, etc.

Complimentary free dinners,
promotional certificates, and services from hotels, airlines, recreational
facilities, etc.

Gift certificates, gift baskets,
pictures, home decorations, etc.
Please complete the
Silent Auction Donor form no
later than April 5, 2010. You may ship your item to either of the Silent Auction
Committee Co-Chairs listed on the form or contact us for pick up of any items
too large for mailing or shipping.

anyone on the Silent Auction
Committee so they receive it by
April 9th. You can
also bring it with you to the
Baltimore Convention Center.
In order for your donation to be
acknowledged in the Silent Auction
donation list, we need to have your
donation by April 9th.

Silent Auction Donor Form
Your business
name will be listed in our Silent
Auction catalog.
If the value of your donated item is
greater than $300.00, we will post
your business name on a special
display in the Silent Auction area.
You can obtain these items
yourself or obtain them from
friends or businesses. Any
donation is tax deductible
as MdHIMA is a 501 c(3) tax
status association. To
provide the business or
friend with a tax donation
form and information about
MdHIMA use of the auction
funds, print the following
