Objective
JCAHO has
proposed changes to the IM Chapter - you can access it at
http://www.jointcommission.org/Standards/SII/.
MdHIMA is forming a very short term Task Force to discuss, evaluate and provide
comments on the proposed changes. The recommendations from the Task Force will
be presented to the Board and ultimately submitted to JCAHO for consideration.
The JCAHO comment period ends on July 2nd.

Force, please register below by Friday,
June 8th. We are hopeful that the Task
Force will be able to accomplish its mission
via a few conference calls - we do not
anticipate any face-to-face meetings. The
1st conference call is scheduled for
Thursday, June 14th from 10:00 am - 12:00
pm.
