Assuming that potential candidates meet MdHIMA bylaws requirements, the Nominating Committee will select candidates who have served in at least one of the following capacities within the past three years:  Officer, chairmanship, membership in an AHIMA, MdHIMA, or other component state association’s committee/task force; member of the MdHIMA Executive Board: consultant or advisor on a special project for the Association.
 

The above guidelines are for the purposes of providing direction to the Nominating Committee as it seeks qualified, informed and motivated members to the ballot.
