Katie Badders, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Towson University and her graduate degree from University of Maryland School of Social Work. While working at the Harford County Office of Drug Control Policy developed and implemented a youth peer court program and wrote the curriculum for the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Pledge Program. She works closely with Addiction Connections Resource (ACR) and developed develop and implement the Above the Influence program, a life choice awareness and alcohol and drug education program for adolescents. During her counseling career, she has worked in multiple mental health settings including a psychiatric hospital ward, both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment centers, a non-public school serving students with emotional and behavioral disturbances. Her private practice, Living Forward Counseling, specializes in Substance Use Disorder treatment and Grief Therapy.
