Better Together… Connecting Health & Human Information
MdHIMA is excited to announce the return of the annual in-person meeting. This year it will be held at the Maritime Conference Center in Linthicum Heights, MD. We are better together… and connecting health & human information.
The meeting will begin on April 27th with an AHIMA update from Maryland’s own Dr. Mona Calhoun, AHIMA’s Board of Director Chair-Elect. National speaker Jerry Bridge will be the keynote motivational speaker on April 28. He will deliver the talk, “If healthcare is about well-being, then why am I so stressed out?” The session will look at if the purpose of healthcare is to alleviate suffering and improve health and well-being; shouldn’t that include the entire healthcare workforce? Yes, of course! Yet countless staff at every level, clinical and administrative, often feel overwhelmed, overworked, and/or overtired. Continually busy or multitasking, trying to keep up with increasing demands or maintain impossible schedules, workers often feel fragmented, exhausted, and burned out!
