Part-time, temporary work on a government contract for someone with experience and expertise in reviewing medical records for completeness and entering results into a tracking database. Position involves flagging major components of medical records, such as Discharge Summary, Emergency Department, Physician Notes, Labs, Orders, etc., and also to call the hospitals or nursing facilities if any of the major medical record components are missing.
Someone with a background in hospital or skilled nursing facility (SNF) medical record analysis for completeness would be ideal.
High School Diploma with substantial experience and expertise in reviewing medical records for completion, and the other activities listed above.
An RHIA or RHIT would be helpful.
